Sessions are 50 minutes long, either online or in-person, for $130NZD.
Our in-person practice is located in Henderson, West Auckland – by appointment only.
At Hard Yards, we offer a space for blokes, by blokes. Of course our stories are different, but we build from what connects us.
Many of our guys are navigating challenges like shame, addiction, stress, sexuality, or a sense of disconnection – or just straight up feeling like crap and not sure why. Maybe it’s relationship stuff, or big questions about identity.
The aim here is to help you take control of your life and explore the questions that bring clarity, peace, and self-awareness.
Individual Counselling
In-person sessions in West Auckland or online, focused on what you need. A space to talk things through, make sense of what’s going on inside, and figure out the next steps that feel right for you.
Couples Counselling
Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help you and your partner reconnect. We’ll look at the patterns that keep you stuck, and work toward building trust, closeness, and stronger bonds.
Addiction Support
Including porn, gaming, alcohol, and substance use. When one part of you wants to stop but another keeps going back, we’ll work with both sides so you can find freedom without judgment.
Sexual Abuse & Trauma Therapy
For survivors of sexual harm or other painful experiences. Trauma can leave deep marks, but it doesn’t have to define who you are. Therapy offers a safe place to rebuild strength, self-worth, and trust in yourself.
General Mental Health Support
From stress, anxiety, and overthinking to struggles with self-esteem, relationships, or identity — sometimes life just feels heavy. Together, we’ll make sense of what’s going on and find ways to move forward.
Our approach is straight-up and supportive. We don’t push labels or agendas – we work alongside you to face the hard stuff and move forward.
